In case you forgot over the Christmas break, it will cost you more to ride Winnipeg Transit as of Monday.
Increased fares kick in January 1, meaning you’ll have to dig a little deeper into your pocket to hop on board.
Full and Handi-Transit cash fares will be $2.95. Reduced and senior cash fares will be $2.45. New rates for tickets and passes will also be in effect.
2017 bus tickets (plus applicable cash difference) will be accepted until March 31, 2018.
