Six grand prizes make up the new St. Boniface Hospital’s 2018 Mega Million Choices Lottery, with a retail prize value of more than $2.5 million.
The lottery launched on Tuesday and will see funds invested into St. Boniface Hospital to diagnose and treat patients with state-of-the-art equipment, while attracting research partners from around the globe.
The first grand prize is a custom luxury bungalow by Gino’s Homes in Bridgwater Lakes valued at $950,000, plus existing furniture, wall art, audio-visual equipment and appliances, a 2018 Audi Q7 TFSI, 2018 Audi A8 4.0 TFSI, and $250,000 in cash.
Other prizes include two more stunning homes in Tayor Farm, a Ridgewood West home, plus a condo in Osoyoos, B.C., a second Gino’s Homes two-storey home in Ridgewood West, and $1.1 million cash.
This year’s celebrity spokesperson is Winnipeg Jet Mathieu Perreault.
Vince Barletta, president and CEO, St. Boniface Hospital Foundation, says the lottery has raised more than $12 million to support the work of the Foundation since its inception.
“When you purchase a lottery ticket, you help St. Boniface Hospital patients receive the highest standard of care, and provide doctors and nurses with the best resources to do their job,” Barletta said.
“You also assist our innovative researchers with the resources required to make discoveries that will help us overcome today’s most debilitating diseases and conditions.”
