You know those unwanted gift cards of yours collecting dust since Christmas? A Winnipeg shopping centre wants to help you rid yourself of those.
Outlet Collection Winnipeg’s “Trade It Up” event is inviting customers to come down on Sunday, January 21 to exchange their unwanted cards for gift cards to the outlet mall in the same amount.
All collected cards will be donated to the True North Youth Foundation.
“The idea behind the promotion is to provide an incentive for shoppers to exchange or ‘trade up’ unwanted gift cards received over the holidays for an Outlet Collection gift card,” said Pascale Rocher, marketing and tourism manager.
“We’re always looking for ways to go beyond the expectations that our guests have of outlet shopping and provide experiences of every kind to pack home as memories alongside their shopping bags.”
Shoppers can visit the guest services booth from 10 a.m. onwards until $10,000 in gift cards is reached. Accepted cards can be from most Manitoba retailers, as long as the amount can be verified.
