Winnipeg police are investigating three separate stabbings that injured four people on Thursday evening.
Emergency personnel were called to the 400 block of Furby Street at around 5:45 p.m. where a woman was stabbed in the lower body.
She was taken to hospital in critical condition.

Officers used Air 1 to track the suspect after a short foot pursuit. Robert Elliot Sutherland, 21, of Winnipeg faces several charges and remains in custody.
About 15 minutes later, police responded to another stabbing of a 26-year-old woman in the 500 block of Balmoral Street.
She has since been upgraded to stable condition in hospital from her upper body injuries.
