Winnipeg police are investigating three separate stabbings that injured four people on Thursday evening.
Emergency personnel were called to the 400 block of Furby Street at around 5:45 p.m. where a woman was stabbed in the lower body.
She was taken to hospital in critical condition.

At around 8:05 p.m., A 25-year-old man was stabbed in the upper body in the 500 block of Furby Street. He has since been upgraded from critical to stable condition in hospital.
In that assault, police say a small group of people were at a residence when an argument broke out between two men. The victim was chased by the suspect and stabbed as a result.
Officers used Air 1 to track the suspect after a short foot pursuit. Robert Elliot Sutherland, 21, of Winnipeg faces several charges and remains in custody.
About 15 minutes later, police responded to another stabbing of a 26-year-old woman in the 500 block of Balmoral Street.
She has since been upgraded to stable condition in hospital from her upper body injuries.
