Girlfriend Stabs Man, Sets His House on Fire in Northern Manitoba: RCMP

RCMP Logo VehicleRCMP have a woman in custody accused of stabbing her boyfriend and then setting his house on fire in Lynn Lake, Manitoba.

Police were called to the residence early Friday for a domestic violence call. They found the man had been stabbed and left the home to call police. When he returned, the structure had been set ablaze.

The victim wasn’t seriously hurt in the stabbing and no other injuries were reported due to the fire.

Elise Colomb, 36, has been charged with assault with a weapon, mischief causing danger to life, arson to property and two counts of failing to comply with an undertaking.
