Brandon Police Service CrestA woman accused of stealing $100 worth of merchandise from a Brandon business might have remained under the radar had she not dropped her own wallet on the way out of the store.

Police say the robbery occurred November 3, 2017 in the 900 block of 18th Street North. The woman loaded up on goods, but dropped her identification while leaving.

Video surveillance later matched the suspect to the recovered identification. The 21-year-old woman turned herself into police on Monday evening.

She faces charges of theft under $5,000 and will appear in court in March.
