WINNIPEG — For foodies, it’s the most exciting time of the year, especially if you love supporting local food vendors.
The 5th annual Love Local MB is a celebration of beer, wine and food set for March 3.
“It’s a super fun evening out, with a complimentary cocktail, live music, lots of sampling and the opportunity to support local producers by purchasing their wares,” said co-founder and entrepreneur Peter Fehr.
More than 50 food and drink vendors are coming together to create a night of gourmet cuisine available for sample and purchase.
“The fact that the event has become a sell-out evening is telling of how much our province values and builds into its local economy,” added Fehr.
“We are thrilled, honoured and humbled by the extraordinary support we have felt from our fellow Manitobans.”
A portion of the proceeds from Love Local MB will go towards Siloam Mission.
Tickets are $30 or a VIP experience can be purchased for $50. Love Local MB runs from 5-9 p.m. at the Victoria Inn Hotel & Convention Centre. For tickets and a full list of vendors, visit lovelocalmb.com.
