A 17-year-old girl was killed Friday night in a two-vehicle crash with a semi-trailer truck just south of Notre Dame de Lourdes, Manitoba.
The teen, from the RM of Lorne, was pronounced deceased on the scene at around 9:55 p.m. on Provincial Road 244.
Manitoba RCMP say the teen’s vehicle crossed the centre line and struck the northbound semi, being driven by a 42-year-old Carman man. Both vehicles ended up in the east side ditch.
The semi driver and his 46-year-old female passenger weren’t injured.
Alcohol and speed are not considered factors in the crash.
Police are continuing to investigate.
