Alcohol, speed and lack of seatbelt use are being considered factors in a fatal crash in Rosenfeld, Manitoba overnight.
Emergency crews responded to Provincial Road 332 at around 1:45 a.m. where a northbound vehicle had lost control, rolled and hit a tree.
A 47-year-old woman was able to make it out of the vehicle and call for help from a nearby home. She was then taken to hospital in serious condition. The 47-year-old male driver was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Both occupants were from Rosenfeld.
Morden RCMP officers continue to investigate.
