The Children’s Hospital Foundation of Manitoba received a giant cheque Tuesday from the Winnipeg Police Association.

The WPA donated $40,000 as raised from the WPA Charity Ball last April.

WPA president Maurice (Moe) Sabourin says the association has donated more than $600,000 for children’s health to date.

“Our members are proud to support the important work of the Children’s Hospital Foundation,” Sabourin said.

The 94th Annual WPA Charity Ball takes place Saturday, April 28 at Canad Inns Polo Park. Tickets are available by calling (204) 957-1579.
