An abandoned vehicle near the Easterville, Manitoba airport on Saturday prompted RCMP to later find the body of its last known driver.
The vehicle was found at around 12:45 p.m. with blood inside, which officers soon learned was that of a 30-year-old Easterville man. He was found deceased on Sunday.
Police consider the death to be suspicious and are investigating it as a homicide.
Police say public safety is not at risk and that the death was a random event.
