A 27-year-old Thompson man is recovering in hospital after being slashed with a machete on Saturday.
RCMP were called to a residence in the community shortly before noon where the victim received a deep laceration to his upper body.
Chris Watt, 23, of Thompson, has been charged with attempted murder and remains in custody.
The victim is listed in stable condition.
