WINNIPEG — Before it melts away for the season, Ice Castles will host a group of health and wellness enthusiasts for yoga on Sunday.
Dozens of people are expected to attend the courtyard of the frozen spectacle created at The Forks Parks Canada site to participate in the charity event.
The only difference from regular hot yoga? This class requires winter clothing to work up a sweat.
Participants must register in advance for the class through Lululemon Athletica’s Winnipeg Facebook page. A minimum $5 donation is required to participate. 100% of the donations will go to the Polar Bear Fund.
More than 60 people are already registered to attend the hour-long class, which begins at 10 a.m. tomorrow.
Organizers say participants should bring a yoga mat, water bottle and dress in warm clothing.
