The Kinsmen Club of Stonewall will soon receive a $20,000 donation towards its fundraising efforts to develop a splash pad in Stonewall.
The Manitoba community is the beneficiary of proceeds from Sunova Credit Union’s 13th annual Sunova Golf Classic.
“We’re thrilled to be able to support such an important organization not only in the community of Stonewall, but in the region,” said Sunova Credit Union president and CEO Ed Bergen. “The Kinsmen do great work in their community and we are happy to be a part of it.”
The donation will be made in June and help Kinsmen closer in reaching its $250,000 goal of building an accessible splash pad at the Kinsmen lake.
The 13th annual Sunova Golf Classic will be held June 8 at the Pinawa Golf & Country Club.
