Police Seize Fentanyl, Meth from River Heights Home

Winnipeg Police CrestWinnipeg police have seized 2,057 blotters believed to contain fentanyl and carfentanil.

The blotters, which are absorbent pieces of paper that can contain individual doses of the drug, are valued at $41,140.

Officers executed a search warrant at a home on Monday, where they also seized 48 grams of methamphetamine worth an estimated $7,200, packing materials, a digital scale and cell phones.

A 26-year-old Winnipeg man, along with two Winnipeg women, aged 24 and 29, face drug trafficking charges.

“The Winnipeg Police Service wishes to remind the public that if they come across any type of blotter or suspicious paper believed to contain a drug, please do not ingest or handle it and contact police,” a statement read.
