A new Winnipeg clothing boutique opening this weekend is specializing in trendy fashion for plus-size women.
Orchidée Fashion Boutique co-owner Chantal Darzi says the store is meant to create an uplifting shopping experience for women sizes 10 and up.
“We are very aware of the challenges women face shopping today, and we wanted to create a welcoming space that provides a positive shopping experience with a personal touch,” Darzi says.
The store will stock brands that are specifically tailored to women with curves, while maintaining well-tailored and affordable options.
Orchidée, which means orchid in French, held a soft opening at St. Vital Centre a few weeks ago, but will officially open its doors to customers on Saturday, March 24. The first 20 shoppers on Saturday will receive $10 gift cards.
