Two women were taken into custody early Thursday after crashing a stolen vehicle at the intersection of Higgins Avenue and McArthur Street.
Winnipeg police were in pursuit of the vehicle when it crashed into a barrier at around 5 a.m. The vehicle was originally spotted by officers in the area of Watt Street and Chalmers Avenue when they attempted to pull it over.
The two women were taken to hospital for treatment. One has since been released and placed into police custody, while the other remains in stable condition in hospital.
