Kortney and Dave Wilson from HGTV’s ‘Masters of Flip’ will appear at this year’s Winnipeg Home + Garden Show. (HANDOUT)
If spring has you itching to tackle that new home renovation project, the Winnipeg Home + Garden Show should be a stop on your Mike Holmes-inspired journey.
More than 200 professional contractors and renovation experts will pack the RBC Convention Centre April 5-8 for the 44th annual show.
“Summer renovations usually cause the least disruption to your home schedule, especially if you are taking time off over the summer,” said Lanny McInnes, president of the Manitoba Home Builders’ Association.
Winnipeggers can also seek expert advice from the Ask a Renovator booth, which McInnes says is a great starting point to get tips and insight on how to tackle your summer reno project.
“Typically, more time is spent outdoors than indoors, so basement and kitchen renovations are great for summer months.”
Fans of the HGTV show “Masters of Flip” can also get the inside scoop on how to add value to their home from house-flipping duo Kortney and Dave Wilson on Friday, April 6 and Saturday, April 7. The pair will appear on the Urban Barn Main Stage at 6 p.m. and 1 p.m., respectively.
Tickets are available at the door or online (save $3), by visiting WinnipegHomeandGardenShow.com. Show hours are April 5-6 from noon to 9 p.m., Saturday, April 7 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m and Sunday, April 8 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
