A 15-year-old boy riding as a passenger in a pickup truck on Saturday was killed when the vehicle flipped in a field in the RM of Lorne.
Manitoba RCMP say the single-vehicle crash happened at around 1:20 a.m. off of Road 66 West, approximately five kilometres southwest of Bruxelles.
An 18-year-old man was driving the truck at the time when it flipped. The driver was wearing a seatbelt and was not injured, while the passenger wasn’t and pronounced deceased at the scene.
Kyle Nolan Devos, from the RM of Lorne, has been charged with impairing driving causing death and dangerous driving causing death. He will appear in Portage la Prairie court on Monday.
