A woman walking into Concordia Hospital on Saturday morning was pepper-sprayed and robbed.
Police say the victim, in her 50s, was in the parking lot at around 10:50 a.m. with her five-year-old relative when two suspects approached them. The woman was sprayed and fell to the ground, where she was robbed of her purse.
Overspray hit the child with her and both victims were helped by witnesses into the emergency department for treatment.
Two suspects were located at a nearby residence.
Brandon Woodhouse, 20, and a 12-year-old boy face robbery charges and possession of a prohibited weapon. The youth also faces assault with a weapon charges.
Both suspects remain in custody.
