A 21-year-old woman who was injured in an ATV crash last weekend has succumbed to her injuries.
The single-vehicle accident happened Saturday at around 4:20 p.m. in a field off Provincial Road 27 East in the RM of Hanover.
Manitoba RCMP say she was one of two female riders in a side-by-side ATV. The vehicle rolled, severely injuring the victim. The other woman, who is 21, wasn’t injured in the crash.
Police say the driver was not wearing a seatbelt. The passenger was belted at the time of the collision, but neither occupant was wearing a helmet. Alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the collision.
RCMP are continuing to investigate.
