The prizes seem endless in the latest lottery to be launched by three of Manitoba’s largest hospital foundations.
The 2018 Tri-Hospital Dream Lottery was unveiled Wednesday under the umbrellas of Health Sciences Centre Winnipeg, Children’s Hospital-HSC Winnipeg, and St. Boniface Hospital.
“Thanks to support from generous Manitobans, including through our lottery program, our three hospital foundations have a tremendous impact on the quality of care we provide to families,” said Vince Barletta, president and CEO, St. Boniface Hospital Foundation.
“Whether it’s a family in crisis, a premature baby in need of the latest technology, an organ transplant, or a family member undergoing life-saving surgery – you can depend on us.”
Prizes in this year’s lottery include a custom-built, completely furnished Maric Home located on Yorkvalley Way in South Pointe. The winner will also get two Mercedes-Benz vehicles and $200,000 cash. The dream package is worth over $1.52 million.
Other prizes include a CCM Design lakefront cottage with stunning views of Dorothy Lake in Whiteshell Provincial Park, two Toyota SUVs, speedboat, a pontoon, two ATVs, two snowmobiles, plus $100,000 in cash. The prize package is valued at over $1.46 million.
If those prizes don’t appeal to you, there’s a riverfront Irwin Homes pad in South Headingley you can relax in, or their home at The Residences at Nineteen/Fourteen on Henderson Highway. Each home is completely furnished and also includes a major cash component.
Aside from luxurious real estate, there’s a $1.2 million cash prize and a 50/50 draw, which can grow to $1.17 million.
Each lottery ticket sold helps purchase state-of-the-art equipment to treat both children and adults in need of immediate, specialized care. Ticket purchases also help fund research discoveries aiming to unlocking new medicines and treatments.
