Two People Injured in Bar Italia Shooting on Corydon Avenue

Two people were rushed to hospital early Tuesday after being shot at a popular Corydon Avenue bar.

Shots rang out at around 12:40 a.m. at Bar Italia, where a 37-year-old man and 28-year-old woman were injured.

The woman was taken to hospital in stable condition, while the man remains in critical condition.

Bar Italia is a summer hotspot on the Corydon strip, perhaps best known for its bustling patio.

Investigators had Cockburn Street taped off between Corydon Avenue and McMillan Avenue as they worked at the scene.

No arrests have been made in the shooting.
