Bar Italia, 737 Corydon Avenue (GOOGLE STREET VIEW)
WINNIPEG — One of the victims in a double shooting outside Bar Italia on Tuesday morning has died from his injuries.
Winnipeg police say the 37-year-old man, who has been identified as Noel Ramirez (Talingdan), succumbed to his injuries in hospital on Wednesday.
Ramirez and a 28-year-old woman were both taken to hospital after suffering gunshot wounds at around 12:40 a.m. outside 737 Corydon Avenue. The female victim was last listed in stable condition.
Police haven’t made any arrests in connection with the homicide. Anyone with information, or who may have been in the area of the shooting at the time, is asked to contact investigators at (204) 986-6508 or Crime Stoppers at (204) 786-TIPS (8477).
Bar Italia said its establishment was set to reopen on Wednesday morning.
