Two people were arrested Wednesday after Winnipeg police executed two search warrants on suspicion of drug trafficking in the city.
Officers searched a home in the Assiniboine Park area and another in Windsor Park.
Police seized cocaine worth approximately $2,400, marijuana valued at $300, and approximately $30,000 in cash. They also found two non-restricted firearms, two restricted handguns, packaging material and one kilogram of suspected bath salts.
Marjan Peric, 33, has been charged with 20 offences and remains in custody.
A 34-year-old man was also arrested and will be charged with several firearms and weapons offences. He was released on a promise to appear.
