The Winnipeg Goldeyes have placed right-handed pitcher Edwin Carl on the inactive list, retroactive to Monday.
Carl has been diagnosed with an upper body injury sustained during his start on Sunday at St. Paul. As per American Association rules, Carl must stay on the inactive list for 30 days.
The team also announced right-handed pitcher Charle Rosario has signed with the Mexican League’s Piratas de Campeche. Rosario was 2-2 with a 3.94 ERA in eight starts this season.
The Winnipeg Goldeyes continue a three-game series against the Wichita Wingnuts tonight at Shaw Park. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
