A Winnipeg man is facing impaired driving charges after losing control of his vehicle on Wednesday and crashing into two parked cars.
Police were called to the 400 block of Hamilton Avenue at around 7 p.m., where they say an eastbound sedan had crossed the boulevard and westbound lanes before driving onto the sidewalk and hitting a bus bench. The sedan also collided with the two other vehicles before coming to a stop.
The driver was taken to hospital in unstable condition and later released.
Ayush Chaudhary, 30, faces dangerous driving charges, as well as impaired driving charges and failing to provide a breath/blood sample.
He remains in custody.
