Edmonton Man Facing Drug Charges After Brandon Traffic Stop

Brandon Police Service CrestAn Edmonton man is in Brandon court today on charges of cocaine possession, among other offences.

The 30-year-old suspect was arrested Wednesday during a traffic stop in the 2300 block of Rosser Avenue, where police found nine grams of cocaine. He also provided police with false identification.

The man faces charges of possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, personation, public mischief and possession of proceeds of crime.

A 51-year-old Brandon woman, who was a passenger in the man’s vehicle, is also facing drug-related charges. She will appear in court in September.
