Craving some fresh garden veggies? The Red River Ex Farmers’ Market kicks off on Saturday.
Manitoba vendors will be set up with fresh produce, baked goods, artisan crafts, specialty products and other items for shoppers.
“As a not-for-profit association, we always look for ways to partner with and support like-minded individuals, groups companies, activities and events that support the people who live, work and play in our community,” said Garth Rogerson, Red River Exhibition Association CEO.
“We appreciate the vendors who provide the goods and services, and similarly, we appreciate the community members who continue to support them with their purchases,” Rogerson added.
The market will run every Saturday until September 29 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m in the park’s south parking lost. It can be accessed off of Racetrack Road north of Portage Avenue. Admission and parking are free.
