Burned-Out Truck Found Belonging to Missing Manitoba Man

The burned-out remains of a missing Manitoba man’s pickup truck have been found near where he went missing close to Stead, Manitoba.

Vernon Karl Otto, 66, was last seen the afternoon of May 29 working in his field near his home.

RCMP consider Otto’s disappearance suspicious and say his white 2005 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 extended cab was found by investigators.

The RM of St. Clements man is described as Caucasian, 6’2”, 200 pounds, blue eyes, and grey balding hair. He was last seen wearing black jeans, a gold watch and black casual shoes.
