A 54-year-old Winnipeg man is facing child pornography charges after allegedly possessing the material.
Winnipeg police executed a search warrant in the Riverview area on June 25, where they seized an electronic device displaying child sexual abuse images.
Police began investigating in April after receiving information about the material being uploaded from an IP address in Winnipeg.
Kirby James Rae has been charged with distributing and possessing child pornography. He remains in custody.
