Pedestrian Struck and Killed on Ebb and Flow First Nation

RCMP Logo VehicleA 19-year-old woman who was walking near the Ebb and Flow First Nation community arena was hit and killed by a vehicle late Wednesday.

The single-vehicle crash happened at around 11:50 p.m. on Provincial Road 278 as the woman was attempting to cross the street.

She was pronounced deceased on scene.

Manitoba RCMP say the 52-year-old RM of Ste. Rose woman driving the vehicle wasn’t injured.

?Alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the collision.

Police continue to investigate.
