Saskatchewan Man Charged in Fatal Crash Near Pipestone, Manitoba

RCMP Logo VehicleA 23-year-old man has been charged after a single-vehicle rollover on Friday about eight kilometres east of Pipestone, Manitoba.

RCMP say a pickup truck was travelling on Highway 2 at around 3:50 a.m. when it lost control and rolled into the ditch.

The truck was carrying three male passengers from Weyburn, Saskatchewan at the time, aged 27, 31, and 39. The 39-year-old man was pronounced deceased at the scene. The two other men suffered minor injuries.

The driver has been charged with impaired driving causing death.

Virden RCMP continue to investigate.
