A 42-year-old La Salle woman died Wednesday in a two-vehicle crash on the south Perimeter Highway.
The collision happened at around 7:25 a.m. just east of the Brady Road intersection.
The woman’s minivan was travelling eastbound when a westbound truck drove over of the median and collided with it head-on.
The 32-year-old Winnipeg man driving the truck was taken to hospital in serious condition, while the woman was pronounced deceased on the scene.
Family has identified her as Tammy Rosko, who was on her way to work at the time.
RCMP say seatbelts were in use and that speed was not a factor in the collision. Officers are investigating what made the truck cross the median.
