Reduced Speed in School Zones Back in Effect September 1

School Zone Speed Limits
Reduced speed limits in school zones go into effect this Monday. (WPS / HANDOUT)

Summer is coming to an end, school is almost in session, and that means reduced speeds in school zones are back in effect as of 7:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 1.

Enforcement of these reduced speed zones, in compliance with the Reduced-Speed School Zone Regulation found in the Manitoba Highway Traffic Act, will include both traditional and photo enforcement to ensure the safety of children.
