A 53-year-old man has died after the pickup truck he was driving lost control and crashed leading into the long weekend.
The man was travelling on Provincial Road 336 on August 31, about one kilometre north of Highway 23, when the vehicle lost control on the gravel and rolled several times.
The driver was pronounced deceased at the scene, while his 53-year-old female passenger was taken to hospital in stable condition. Both were from the RM of Rhineland.
RCMP say seatbelts were in use at the time and alcohol doesn’t appear to be a factor.
Police continue to investigate the crash.
