Fellow Cyclist May Have Witnessed Fatal Crash, Urged to Contact Police

Winnipeg Police CrestWinnipeg police are hoping to speak to a female cyclist who may have witnessed the fatal crash between a truck and a fellow cyclist on Tuesday evening.

The 61-year-old man was struck at the intersection of Bishop Grandin Boulevard and Lagimodiere Boulevard at around 5:30 p.m. He was taken to hospital and succumbed to his injuries.

Police are asking the female cyclist or anyone else who may have witnessed the crash to contact them at (204) 986-7085 or Crime Stoppers at (204) 786-TIPS (8477).
