WINNIPEG — With six grand prize options, the 2018 HSC Millionaire Lottery is making sure there’s enough of an incentive to buy yourself a ticket this year.
The Health Sciences Centre Foundation launched the annual lottery on Wednesday, helping to support Manitoba families through new research and cutting-edge technology and facilities.
“Your support saves countless lives and gives you the chance to change your own,” said Jonathon Lyon, president and CEO of the HSC Foundation.
“When you buy an HSC Millionaire Lottery ticket, you’re helping us bring more life-saving technology, world-class programs, and important services to HSC. You’re also supporting innovative medical researchers as they find ways to provide tomorrow’s care today.”
Grand prizes include:
- North River Heights home by Alair Homes ($1.43M package), including a $10,000 travel prize from Great Canadian Travel, two 2018 BMWs, and $230,000 cash.
- RidgeWood West home by Sterling Homes ($1.39M package) with a $200,000 travel prize from Great Canadian Travel, two 2018 BMWs, and $400,000 cash.
- Bridgwater Trails home by Maric Homes ($1.38M package). Choose either a luxury 2018 Toyota 4Runner SRS and upgrade package, a $50,000 furniture credit by EQ3, or $50,000 cash.
- South Winnipeg condo by StreetSide and Vancouver Island cottage ($1.36M package), with $50,000 in EQ3 furnishings, a 2018 Honda Accord Touring 2.0, and $300,000 cash.
- British Columbia Wine Country home at Skaha Hills (over $1.3M package), including a $200,000 travel prize, two 2018 BMWs, and $400,000 cash.
- $1.1 million in tax-free cash: instantly become Manitoba’s newest millionaire with an all-cash option.
This year’s lottery features the 50/50 PLUS prize, which can grow to more than $1.72 million. A new Daily Cash PLUS Calendar awards a winner every day in January. In total, there are 2,750 prizes to be won.
