Winnipeg police have arrested and charged two more people accused of robbing several Winnipeg Liquor Mart locations recently.
Between July 17 and September 18, a 16-year-old girl was allegedly involved in nine robberies involving $4,050 worth of liquor being stolen.
Police say she would enter the store and exit without paying. During an incident on August 28, she threw a bottle and hit a security guard. Another bottle was thrown at a customer in the store.
Another robbery occurred on Tuesday, where the suspect turned a bottle upside down and threatened an employee before fleeing the store.
Officers caught up to the suspect at around 10:30 p.m. in the 1100 block of Garfield Street after a short foot chase.
She has been charged with a number of theft-related offences and remains in custody.
In another arrest, police say a 28-year-old Winnipeg woman was responsible for stealing approximately $5,150 worth of alcohol in 18 incidents at various Liquor Mart locations.
The alleged thefts happened between April 18 and July 1.
During six of the robberies, the suspect sprayed employees and customers with bear spray.
Markie Haley Seymour was arrested Tuesday afternoon at a home in West St. Paul. She faces theft and robbery-related offences.
