Winnipeg police have made an arrest after a 17-year-old boy was stabbed in the railway underpass on McPhillips Street on September 24.
Police and emergency crews responded to an area near Logan Avenue at around 4 p.m. and found the teen. He was taken to hospital and later succumbed to his injuries.
Police say the teen was injured during a physical altercation with another youth. On Friday, police arrested a 13-year-old Winnipeg boy in the 700 block of Stella Avenue after a brief foot chase.
The youth, who can’t be named, has been charged with second-degree murder. He remains in custody.
