A new grocery delivery service that recently moved into Winnipeg is now serving customers of the Real Canadian Superstore.
Instacart has announced a partnership with Loblaw to deliver groceries to Winnipeg shoppers, in as little as one hour.
“The option of home delivery complements our in-store and pick up experiences, to provide our customers with convenience and quality, however, they want to shop with us,” said Herman Paek, senior vice-president, ecommerce, Loblaw.
Customers can visit the Instacart website or download the mobile app to place their order by selecting their region and preferred store. Items are added to a virtual shopping cart and paid for in advance before delivery occurs.
Instacart announced grocery delivery from Winnipeg Walmart stores in September.
For orders of $35 or more, the delivery fee is $3.99. Membership is also available at $9.99 per month or $99 per year for free same-day delivery on orders over $35.
