A 16-year-old Winnipeg boy is in police custody after allegedly robbing various Liquor Mart locations between June 16 and September 18.
Police say the teen would often enter the store, select a quantity of liquor and walk out. The approximate value of the combined thefts is $19,270 over the course of 18 incidents.
During one incident on July 4, a Liquor Mart employee was verbally threatened.
Police arrested the suspect Monday in the 400 block of Banning Street.
The teen faces numerous theft and robbery-related offences.
