Winnipeg police seized a high-powered firearm and a quantity of meth while executing a search warrant Tuesday afternoon.
Officers searched a home in the 600 block of Furby Street, where they located an SKS semi-automatic rifle, a restricted high-capacity magazine containing 18 rounds of 7.62×39mm rounds, an ASP telescopic baton, plastic/composite knuckles and approximately one gram of methamphetamine.
A 36-year-old Winnipeg woman was arrested and faces numerous charges.
She was released on a promise to appear.
