The Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service Half Marathon will close a portion of westbound and eastbound Roblin Boulevard on Sunday.
From 5:30 a.m. until noon, Roblin will be closed between from Shaftsbury Boulevard to Chalfont Road. Access to the Assiniboine Park Zoo will be provided via westbound Roblin Boulevard.
Motorists should allow for additional travel time, and use alternate routes in this area to reach their destinations.
The 5k and 10k WFPS Half Marathon, now in its seventh year, has raised more than $300,000 for the Heart and Stroke Foundation since its inception.
