Winnipeg police rounded up half a dozen people on October 20, suspected of operating a dial-a-deal drug ring.
A 46-year-old woman was arrested and found to be carrying crack cocaine rocks worth $325, Percocet pills worth $64 and $685 in cash.
The same day, police executed a search warrant at a home in the 900 block of Redwood Avenue, where officers seized crack cocaine worth $1,700, powder cocaine worth $12,800, $1,655 in cash, cell phones, and a 12-gauge shotgun with a sawed-off stock.
Two men and three women, ranging in age from 20 to 47, were all taken into custody.
They face charges of drug trafficking, proceeds of crime and firearms-related offences.
