Daylight saving time ends in Manitoba early Sunday, November 4, when clocks will fall back by one hour.

Under The Official Time Act, daylight saving time begins on the second Sunday in March and continues until the first Sunday in November.

The official time change to daylight saving time occurs at 2 a.m. on Sunday, at which time clocks should be set back to 1 a.m.

Emergency officials say it’s also an opportune time to change batteries in smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.
