A Winnipeg man was killed Sunday when his vehicle crossed all four lanes of the Perimeter Highway and rolled.

Headingley RCMP responded at around 7:15 a.m. to the intersection of Murdoch Road and the Perimeter Highway. Police say the man’s body was located approximately 600 feet from the vehicle and he was later pronounced deceased in hospital.

The 33-year-old driver was travelling southbound on Murdoch Road when it appears he failed to negotiate a turn and crossed the Perimeter. The vehicle rolled and he was ejected.

Police say it doesn’t appear he was wearing a seatbelt.

RCMP are continuing to investigate the crash.
