Woman Beaten, Left Unconscious After St. Vital Robbery

Winnipeg Police CrestWinnipeg police are looking for two men after a St. Vital business was robbed and a woman was left unconscious.

Police say at around 9:25 p.m. on Monday, officers responded to a robbery at the Dollarama in the 600 block of St. Anne’s Road.

A 19-year-old female employee saw two men leave the store without paying for numerous goods. When the suspects noticed her recording their licence plate number on her cell phone, they returned and seriously assaulted her until she was left unconscious. They also stole her cell phone.

The woman was treated in hospital for her upper body injuries.

The suspects are described as Indigenous, between 25 and 35 in age, approximately 6’0″ tall with average builds and short black hair.

They were driving a white, newer model SUV.
