Dauphin’s Countryfest is celebrating 30 years in 2019 with a slate full of the industry’s biggest names next summer.
During a news conference in Winnipeg on Tuesday, organizers revealed additional headliners fans can look forward to June 27-30.
“Wow! The memories that have come back working on this year’s line-up have been amazing!,” said general manager Rob Waloschuk.
“With many more spots to fill, I believe our 30th birthday will be one to remember for both past and present Countryfest fans.
Headlining acts include Jason Aldean, Toby Keith, Brothers Osborne, Old Dominion, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band and many others.
In honour of the 30th anniversary, the festival is giving one lucky Manitoba community the chance to host its own mini Countryfest with a special performance by Canadian country music legend Charlie Major in the spring. Proceeds from the Our Birthday, Your Party event will be kept in the community.
The contest opens Wednesday at 9 a.m. and closes March 31, 2019 at 11:59 p.m. For submission guidelines, visit OurBirthdayYourParty.ca. For the complete Dauphin’s Countryfest performer lineup and to purchase tickets, visit CountryFest.ca.
