A 62-year-old Swan River woman was killed Sunday in a two-vehicle crash on Highway 5 when her vehicle crossed the centre line.
RCMP say it happened at around 5:50 p.m. on Highway 5 about 10 kilometres west of Dauphin just east of the Provincial Road 274 junction.
The woman’s eastbound vehicle collided with a westbound minivan, being driven by a 16-year-old boy from Ashville.
The woman was pronounced deceased at the scene, while the other driver was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Police believe both drivers were wearing seatbelts and alcohol wasn’t a factor.
